PLEASE READ the whole thing if you are already an approved adopter, or you would like to become one. If your questions are not answered in the post, feel free to message me with your questions. :)

New babies! These are the two newest additions. I wasn't going to be adopting anymore ratties for a year, but the breeder I planned to adopt from is moving and will no longer be breeding. I was going to adopt a breeding pair of dwarf ratties from him then, but that wasn't the plan anymore. I got ahold of him to see if he had any dwarves. He had one dwarf female, but also a pregnant dwarf carrier female and a carrier male breeding pair. I decided to adopt the since it would be my only chance at dwarves from him! The male is named Dare Devil and the female is named Arcadia (Archie for short).

Miss Archie decided today was the day her babies would come to this world! 12 babies: 3 males and 9 females. Come on mammas, give me those boys! Haha

Of the males, there are two with pink or ruby eyes, and one with black/brown eyes. The one with the dark eyes is a dumbo!

With the females, there are three pink or ruby eyed ladies, two are dumbos and one of the black/brown eyed females is as well. There is one female runt who seems to have been born with just one eye! I will keep an extra eye on her (unintentional pun) to make sure her health and growth rate is up to par. If all seems well, and her temperament holds through, she could go home with someone looking for a unique lady! <3

If there are dwarf babies in this litter, I will not know until they are all around 4 weeks old. Dwarf rats grow at the same rate as regular sized rats up until about 4 weeks old. Then, they slow down rapidly and only get to be about 200g, while regular sized rats average 450g for females and 550-600g for males. My average is a little higher due to my larger breeding ratties. If there are dwarf ratties, all of them will be staying with me this time around to further the line. Their offspring will be the first ones to be available if temperament and health are great! :)

I will not know which of these babies will be available until they are at least 6 weeks old! Reservations will not start until then, so please do not as to reserve them early.
