Temporarily Closing!

TLDR: I will be closing my rat breeding portion of this to the public after my current litters/wait list has been finished. This will be for a year or so. I may have availability for previous adopters during that time, but that will be very limited. No longer breeding degus. Will post what I have available soon. Mice breeding will continue as usual (still available to public), and may be posted more often.

     After much consideration, and a lot of back and forth with myself, I have officially decided to close to the public after my current litters have been adopted out. I've had many set backs going on in the background, as well as personal hardships I am working through. I will continue to breed rats, but on a much smaller scale. I plan to re-open to the public in the future, but it likely won't be for a year or longer.
     As of now, my main focus for the rats will be breeding for myself and trying to further improve my lines. Even though I will be breeding a lot less, I'll likely still have extras that I won't have room to keep. Any extra ratties that I won't be keeping will be available to past adopters only. I cannot say how often I will be posting available rats, so I will no longer hold a wait list. Any posted would be first come first served, and only available to those who've adopted from me before.
     As for the degus, I have decided to no longer breed them. It's been very difficult to find homes, and I am currently over capacity with the ones I do have. I will be keeping a cage of my favorite males as pets, but all others will be posted available in the near future.
     With the mice, I plan to keep those litters public and continue to breed as usual. I may be posting more frequently about them since they'll be my only species available to past adopters and the public for now.
     I truly appreciate the support you've all shown me over the years, and want to continue to be a great source for little companions for many more. Right now, I just need to take the time to refocus and recenter myself and my critters. This is not the end of Garden of Tails, but it will be a much needed break. For those of you who haven't adopted and were looking forward to, I do apologize that it may not be for some time, but please enjoy the update posts I will have on here. Hopefully, in a year or so, I'll be back in a place where I can handle the demand of the public again
